I am Jennifer Gould Andrew, a Canadian Certified Pedorthist.

I started as a patient with knee and heel pain.  When orthotics helped me, I chose to spend 3 years training to become a Pedorthist after completing my Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo. I worked at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in London, Ontario for 12 years before moving to Fredericton in 2009. I have worked closely with orthopedic surgeons, sport medicine and family physicians, physiotherapists, massage therapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors. I consider myself an important part of a team approach.

In addition to helping patients, I am an instructor for the Diploma in Pedorthics offered through Western University, and a supervisor and mentor for upcoming Pedorthists since 2001. This helps me stay on top of current trends in my profession and continues to provide me with ongoing learning.

I am currently a board member for the Pedorthic Association of Canada.

A Canadian Certified Pedorthist is an orthotic and footwear expert. We have specialized education and training in the assessment, anatomy and function of the foot and lower limb, and in the design, fabrication and fitting of foot orthotics and footwear. This training helps us to alleviate pain, abnormalities and debilitating conditions of the foot and lower limb, and help our patients live healthy active lives.
